I love the strong oil-like quality that painting with acrylics generates but I still enjoy drawing with colored pencils. I moved away from Lake Michigan and the Indiana Dunes in 2000 and still miss the beauty that the combination of sand dunes and water provided my eyes. The dunes have made an everlasting impression on my soul.

The sketches are my way of reconnecting with my past and the majesty that God's hands created.
