There are many painters past and present whose artwork I admire and as famous as their paintings are I feel that there will never be a greater painter than God. God's canvases cover the entire sky in front of you, above you, to your sides, and even behind you. Have you ever looked at a sunset behind you? I live every day just to see those sunset paintings and often when I am in the midst of one of God's gorgeous sunset paintings I wish that it wouldn't go away so fast. The painting will gradually fade into night and then I know that God has just said "Goodnight!"

I am so grateful that God has never stopped painting!

Just as sunsets don't last so do many things in life. I chose the title goodbye to yesterday so that I can help you understand that the most beautiful thing about saying goodbye is saying hello again.
